These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, portals, and software services operated by LadderUp Housing Inc. (“LadderUp Housing,” “we,” or “us”), described below. By using our website, portals, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

LadderUp Housing is an affordable-housing company. We operate rental housing and run resident and coaching programs that help renters move toward homeownership.

• Our public website, ladderuphousing.com.
• Our resident and program-participant portals, including the CLIMB coaching platform.
• Our software applications and integrations, including internal accounting and property-management applications that connect to third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online and Buildium. These internal applications are back-office tools used only by LadderUp Housing staff; they have no third-party or public users and are not offered to the public.

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use them in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the website or our services — including by introducing malicious code or placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
• Use them to harass, defraud, or harm others

Some services, such as our portals, require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at info@ladderuphousing.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Nothing in these Terms changes the terms of any lease, subsidy agreement, or program agreement you have with LadderUp Housing. Those agreements are governed by their own documents and by applicable housing law.

The content of our website and services — including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and software — belongs to LadderUp Housing or its licensors and is protected by law. You may view it, use our services as they are intended to be used, and print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Otherwise, you may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.

Our services connect to third-party platforms, including Intuit QuickBooks Online (accounting), Buildium (property management), and Amazon Web Services (hosting), and our portals use Array (credit reports), Plaid (bank connections), and a scheduling service. Those platforms are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Our Privacy Policy describes how we share information with these and our other service providers.

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work to keep them accurate and reliable, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement — to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the website or our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LadderUp Housing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable housing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date shown above. Your continued use of the website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
